Founder & Director
Jess Mester
Jess’ diverse background has taken her from Paris Fashion Week to rural villages in Uganda. Over twelve years in the fashion industry, Jess fused strategy and design working with luxury labels such as Prada and Saint Laurent, managed global retailers and brands in General Manager and Director roles, and launched her own consultancy servicing high-street companies such as Topshop and Glue.
In 2015 she stepped away from the industry and ceased working with businesses that were having a negative impact on the world. She has partnered with non-profit organisations such as School For Life and The Human Kind Project in fundraising, community development, and management capacities. More recently, she merged her expertise to exclusively mentor creatives, social enterprises, and non-profits to drive innovation and revenue from sustainable practices.
The Everywoman is a natural expansion of her life’s work and decades of market insights mapping the modern woman. Her focus now directs to reframing the ethical palette and offering a tasteful female-led alternative to fill the crucial gap she sees in the media.

Divya Venkataraman
Divya is a writer and editor with a passion for stories about culture, intersecting identities and the work and lives of women. She began her career as a lawyer after graduating from university in Sydney, but left the corporate world in order to pursue her passion for journalism.
She has over six years’ experience in the media industry and worked on staff as an editor at Time Out and Vogue Australia, before taking her work freelance. Her writing has since appeared in international titles such as the Guardian, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and more. Alongside her work with The Everywoman, Divya is currently developing her debut work of fiction, due out in 2025.

The Everywoman magazine is printed in Australia with vegetable based inks on FSC certified paper purchased from paper merchants who only source paper from accredited mills to ensure paper pulp is sourced responsibly from sustainable forests and recycled material.
